Someone who will feature regularly on the blog is Simon our site manager. He is going to be here everyday come rain or shine to keep an eye on everything and everyone. Other than scaffolders he is currently the only builder on site and he is busy making preparations such as double checking the way the water is routed around the building, re-assessing the schedule and introducing himself as a first point of contact to all the neighbours. At this stage he is also undertaking the really important work of receiving deliveries such as the site kettle. It is a huge asset to a project such as this to have such a friendly and approachable site manager and his positive attitude will I am sure head various issues off at the pass. Although I think he might be a little bemused by the number of photographs we have taken in the last three days.
In the meantime check out this Hendrix quiz. I got one wrong – which wasn’t very impressive but lyrics are never my strong point – I am all about the tune.
